PDF hit-highlighting plug-in.
dtSearch can highlight hits in PDF files inside Adobe Reader using a free plug-in that is available for download. (As an alternative to the client-running dtSearch plug-in, Contegra Systems has a server-side PDF hit-highlighting solution, bypassing the need to have each end-user separately install software to add hit highlights to PDF files. See selected articles by subject for developer tutorials. The “Databases and Field Searching” section of that page includes articles on working with databases (SQL, NoSQL, SharePoint, etc.), faceted searching, advanced data classification, Azure and AWS, and more.
Serial numbers.
This applies to the dtSearch Engine for Windows only. This product generates a serial number automatically when it is installed. To see your serial number, run dtSearch’s end-user application and click Help > About.
Updates.
dtSearch purchases include free updates for a minimum of one year. Subscribe to dtSearch upgrade notices. Also, dtSearch Engine for Windows users: to check for new versions, or to enable automatic update checking, run dtSearch’s end-user application and click Help > Check for Updates... All dtSearch Engine users can also check the current version release notes here.
